For the longest time I’ve focused on striving to be a “Proverbs mom”. As I’ve gotten older (and hopefully a little bit wiser), I’ve realized I will never be her. I’m not trying to be the perfect woman or the perfect mom, I’m just trying to be better today than I was yesterday.
My husband, Jimmi, and I got got married on Dec. 14, 2007, five months after I turned 18 years old. Since then a lot has happened that has shaped me to be who I am today. We have three healthy sons, Josiah (June 2009), Samuel (February 2014), and Tobias (August 2016 and five babies in heaven (Aug. 2010, July 2011, March 2012, Dec.2012, June 2015). After graduating college and getting my dream job at a newspaper I walked away from it all when Samuel was born to stay at home with my kids and homeschool them.
This blog used to be about my journey to being a Proverbs 31 mom. Now this blog is about the odyssey of motherhood. My epic journey of trying to better myself one day at a time while raising three boys with my husband.
